Job Description:

The Project Engineer serves as a technical resource for all project related teams. Their main objective is to support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Working in conjunction with all project teams as the key technical advisor and product advocate, the Project Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the project.

Key Role Areas (KRA):

1. Project Evaluation and Management
2. Mechanical Design and Engineering Support
3. Documentation and Standards Adherence
4. Coordination and Vendor Interaction
5. Testing, Support, and Process Optimization
 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent experience and specialized training
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project engineering, applications engineering, or related field
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Desired Skills:

• 5+ of project or application’s engineering experience
• Experience in client facing interactions
• Experience within the packaging industry
• Firm understanding of project management process (scope, schedule, spend)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software, Salesforce, AutoCad, Solidworks, PDM and various Viking Masek systems
