Elevate is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our team in Sheboygan. This is a great opportunity to work directly with individuals in the community who are managing mental health and/or substance use challenges while maintaining independence.
What You'll Do:
As a Mental Health Technician, you will provide community-based support and skill development to individuals in their homes and throughout the community. This position plays an important role in helping participants build independence and stability.
Responsibilities include:
Providing 1:1 supportive services in participants’ homes and community settings
Assisting individuals with skill development and daily living supports
Supporting medication monitoring and wellness routines
Encouraging progress toward recovery and independence goals
Documenting services and communicating with the care team
Schedule & Pay
Part-time 2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
20–40 hours per week (flexibility a plus)
Starting pay: $17–$18 per hour
Program operates 365 days per year
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and eligibility to be covered under Elevate’s insurance to drive company vehicles
Ability to perform job-related physical tasks including:
Alternating between sitting and standing
Walking, climbing stairs, and stooping
Lifting up to 10 lbs
Reaching overhead and below
Experience in adult care, mental health, or substance use services preferred
A caring, person-centered approach
Training:
Training and CCS certification are provided upon hire
