SHEBOYGAN, WI--February 3, 2026--The Sheboygan Theatre Company, the local community theater celebrating its 92nd Season, is proud to announce its production lineup for the 2026–2027 season. Audiences can look forward to five unforgettable productions at the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre, each offering a distinct blend of heart, humor, reflection, and joy. The upcoming season will include Come From Away, All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (presented in repertory), Ride the Cyclone, and The Music Man. “We are incredibly proud to share the Sheboygan Theatre Company’s 93rd Season with our community,” said Tricia Roberts, STC Executive Director. “This season brings together stories that celebrate compassion, resilience, imagination, and the power of human connection. From moments of quiet humanity to bold theatrical spectacle, each production offers audiences a chance to laugh, reflect, and experience something meaningful together. We look forward to welcoming new and returning patrons for another season of memorable theatre.” The season opens in September/October 2026 with Come From Away, a deeply moving story inspired by real events following September 11, 2001. When dozens of international flights are diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, the local residents rally to care for thousands of unexpected guests. As fear and uncertainty give way to generosity, understanding, and hope, the production highlights how kindness and community can emerge during even the most difficult moments. In December 2026, STC will present All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 and It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play in repertory. All Is Calm is a poignant musical docudrama that tells the true story of the spontaneous ceasefire on the Western Front during World War I, using soldiers’ letters, diaries, and period songs to illuminate a powerful moment of shared humanity. It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play brings the beloved holiday classic to the stage as a 1940s radio broadcast, with a small ensemble portraying dozens of characters and creating live sound effects to capture George Bailey’s heartwarming journey on Christmas Eve. The February 2027 production, Ride the Cyclone, offers a bold and imaginative theatrical experience. Set in a surreal space between life and what comes next, the story follows a group of teenagers given a chance to reflect on who they were and who they might have been. Blending dark humor, emotional honesty, and inventive storytelling, the show explores identity, memory, and the meaning we find in even the briefest lives. Closing the season in May 2027, The Music Man brings classic charm and big-hearted fun to the stage. Set in early 20th-century Iowa, the story follows a charismatic outsider whose arrival sparks transformation in a small town. As skepticism gives way to music, confidence, and unexpected love, the production celebrates the joy of community, second chances, and the power of believing in one another. Single show ticket sales for the Sheboygan Theatre Company’s 93rd Season will begin August 1, 2026. Season ticket packages available in May.
