CLEVELAND, WI – Two Lakeshore College students placed first in competitions at the spring 2025 SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills state conference held in Madison. Qualifying for advancement to the national SkillsUSA Championships taking place in Atlanta June 23-27 are Autumn Robley and Johnathon DeBruin.
Robley, who completed her degree in precision machining technology this semester and is continuing her education in Lakeshore’s CNC automation technician program, triumphed in the Precision Machining CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College will host two summer camps offering middle and high school students the opportunity to explore in-demand careers. Both camps will be held on the college’s Cleveland campus.
Coding & Cyber Camp takes place June 16-18, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., followed by a lunch and open house for participants and their families June 19 from noon to 1 p.m. This free interactive camp is open to high school students. Details and registration can be found at gotoltc.edu/it-camp.
FABLABulous CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College’s District Board of Trustees Chair John Wyatt has been elected president of the Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association for a one-year term beginning July 1.
Wyatt joined Lakeshore’s Board in 2017. He served as secretary/treasurer from February-July of 2021 and then vice chair from July 2021-June 2023. He went on to become board chair in 2023 and serves as an IT Advisory Committee member.
