STC Taps Abi Charbonneau for Executive Assistant

She has professional experience and a history of community engagement.

SHEBOYGAN, WI--December 18, 2025--The Sheboygan Theatre Company, the local community theater celebrating its 92nd Season, is pleased to welcome Abi Charbonneau as its new Executive Assistant. As a member of the Executive Team, Charbonneau will support STC’s programming, community outreach, production coordination, and volunteer operations, contributing to the organization’s continued growth and community presence.

“Welcoming Abi back to the area and to the STC team is a dream come true,” said Tricia Roberts, Executive Director of Sheboygan Theatre Company. “Abi’s journey with STC reflects what community theatre is all about. Artists find a home here, grow their connection, and step into leadership. Her professional experience, passion for education, and collaborative spirit will be a tremendous asset to our organization and our volunteers.”

Charbonneau is a Midwestern theatre artist based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, with experience working across multiple areas of the performing arts. She has collaborated with organizations including the New York City Ballet, Theatre Aspen, the Overture Center, Children’s Theater of Madison, First Stage, The REV Theatre Company, Brooklyn Acting Lab, and the Sunset Playhouse. Her work spans performance, education, and collaborative artistic leadership in both professional and community-centered settings.

In addition to her performance background, Charbonneau currently serves as a Teaching Artist with First Stage, Danceworks MKE, Children’s Theater of Madison, Overture’s Disney Music in Schools programs, and The University School in Milwaukee. Her recent acting credits include The REV on Tour (2025–2026), Vincent the Musical (AEA Workshop Cast), Les Femme Musketeers with The Sidekick Troupe, and The Unofficial, Unauthorized Barbie Princess and the Pauper, also with The Sidekick Troupe.

“I am most excited about having the opportunity to join STC’s mission of providing accessible and community-centered programming to the Greater Sheboygan County area, while expanding my personal and professional artistry,” said Charbonneau. “STC has a strong reputation for bringing people together through theatre, and I am honored to support that work.”

Charbonneau’s connection to Sheboygan Theatre Company began on stage with her appearance in Legally Blonde, the final production of STC’s 91st Season. That experience introduced her to STC’s collaborative culture and volunteer-driven spirit, and fostered a strong alignment with the organization’s commitment to education, inclusion, and community engagement. Her transition from performer to Executive Assistant reflects STC’s dedication to nurturing talent, developing leadership from within, and creating meaningful opportunities for artists.

In her new role, Charbonneau will help strengthen internal communication, support production planning, and serve as a key connector between STC’s leadership, artists, and volunteers. Her combination of professional theatre experience and arts education background positions her to support both the operational and creative needs of the organization as STC continues to expand its programming and community reach.
