We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RCM Associate in Accounts Receivable to join our team at our Sheboygan, WI office.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a comprehensive understanding of medical billing. We are looking for a team member that has experience with the entire RCM process with a focus on payer AR and handling of Workman's Comp cases. This role is client facing and includes a good deal of interaction with clients, patients when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and follow up on filed claims, including accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement from payers.
• Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies and payment denials.
• Process claims, adjustments, and appeals in compliance with insurance policies and regulations.
• Generate and review AR aging reports to track and resolve outstanding balances.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of AR activities.
• Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and improve AR processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in medical billing accounts receivable.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to reason and solve practical problems efficiently.
• Adaptability: Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
• Spanish speaking a plus.
