About Us: Progressive Beginnings is a family/therapist owned, dynamic and supportive pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to educating our community and helping children reach their full potential. Our team of clinicians is passionate about providing a holistic approach to therapy that considers each child's unique abilities.

Position Overview: We are seeking 2 dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapists to join our current team of 10 Occupational Therapists. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children with physical, cognitive and social-emotional challenges achieve their goals. The candidate must be eager to learn, and open to mentorship from our experienced clinicians. This position offers the opportunity to work in an outpatient setting that has multiple sensory gyms, outdoor playground and garden spaces and onsite warm water swimming pool, providing a diverse and enriching therapeutic experience for both the therapist and the children we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services to children with physical and cognitive disabilities and social-emotional challenges.
  • Conduct assessments to identify each child's strengths and areas for growth, developing personalized treatment plans that promote independence and functional skills.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to core strengthening, upper extremity exercises, neuromuscular re-education, body awareness, executive function skills, and self care management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive, holistic treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapy in both traditional clinic settings and aquatic environments, adapting techniques to suit each environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including mentorship and clinical training opportunities from senior clinicians.
  • Engage in family education and support, empowering caregivers to reinforce therapeutic goals at home.
