Kohler Foundation Presents the 2026 Arts at the Waelderhaus Series

KOHLER, WI – March 26, 2026 – Arts at the Waelderhaus showcases a vibrant lineup of cultural programs hosted within the historic Waelderhaus—an Austrian-inspired house museum overlooking the Sheboygan River in Kohler. The 2026 series features an engaging mix of chamber singers, chamber music, classical and jazz performances, appearances by former RDK Scholarship recipients, and a special program highlighting historical photography of the Village of Kohler.

All events begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons and are free and open to the public. Reservations are appreciated and can be made by calling the Waelderhaus at (920) 453-2851 or by emailing the Waelderhaus Manager at jen.balge@kohler.com. The Waelderhaus, renowned for its Austrian woodcarving, ironwork, and stained glass, is owned and managed by Kohler Foundation, Inc. 2026 Series Lineup:

Carroll University Chamber Singers – April 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Known for its expressive musicianship and rich choral blend, the Carroll University Chamber Singers bring together skilled student vocalists dedicated to artistic excellence. The ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Jeremiah Cawley, is celebrated for dynamic performances that span classical repertoire, contemporary works, and global choral traditions. Their appearance at the Waelderhaus offers audiences an intimate opportunity to experience the choir’s precision and warmth within the venue’s resonant acoustic setting.

Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music | Woodwind Quintet – April 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

A talented woodwind quintet from Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra will present a vibrant program showcasing the color, warmth, and expressive range of woodwind chamber music. Their performance highlights the artistry and collaboration that define one of Wisconsin’s longest
standing orchestral institutions, offering an intimate concert experience in the beautiful acoustics of the Waelderhaus.

Clara Montes | RDK 2019 Violinist & Paolo González | RDK 2024 Pianist – June 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Clara Montes and Paolo Gonzales offer an inspiring afternoon of music and artistry, showcasing the skill and dedication that earned them the Ruth DeYoung Kohler scholarship for Artistic Excellence. Their program will highlight both their individual achievements and the Kohler Foundation’s shared commitment to carrying forward the legacy of Ruth DeYoung Kohler’s support for emerging talent.

Paine Street Ramblers | New Orleans Jazz/Dixieland * – August 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

The Paine Street Ramblers are known for their spirited brass, driving rhythms, and joyful improvisation—capturing the classic sound of New Orleans–style Dixieland jazz with a fresh, modern flair. Performing outdoors against the picturesque backdrop of the Waelderhaus, the Paine Street Ramblers will fill the lawn with upbeat tunes.
*This program is planned to take place outside. We recommend bringing chairs or a blanket to sit on for the most comfortable experience. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held inside.

A Presentation with Darryl Gumm – September 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

From innovative design to a lasting commitment to quality of life, this program with local photographer Darryl Gumm brings to life the history and heritage that continue to define Kohler today.
