PingMe, a social mental health and wellness platform designed to help people “find their tribe,” is rapidly growing through a combination of local partnerships, grassroots outreach, and upcoming national marketing efforts. Founded by local psychotherapist Laura Roberts, PingMe blends community connection with mental wellness support in a way that is both accessible and stigma-free.

Over the past several months, PingMe has received encouraging support from local mental health organizations and community leaders who recognize the growing need for innovative, connection-focused resources. The platform is designed to meet people where they are—offering both forum-based and video-based interaction to help users build meaningful connections.

Rather than relying solely on traditional advertising, PingMe has taken a grassroots approach to growth. Local businesses, community advocates, and micro-influencers have begun sharing the platform and encouraging early sign-ups, helping to build an engaged base of “Founding Pingers” ahead of launch.

This community-first momentum was on full display during PingMe’s pre-launch event held at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company on February 27, 2026, where attendees connected, learned about the platform, and joined the growing movement. The event marked a key milestone in bringing the digital mission of PingMe into real-world spaces.

Looking ahead, PingMe is preparing to scale its reach significantly. A large-scale social media marketing campaign in partnership with California-based development firm Naked Development is set to begin next month, signaling the transition from local growth to national visibility.

With its official App Store launch approaching in Spring 2026, PingMe is positioning itself as a platform that not only originated in Sheboygan—but one that carries the community’s spirit of connection far beyond it.

As momentum continues to build, one thing is clear:
people are looking for connection—and PingMe is meeting that need, one ping at a time.
